A Dream Deferred

FINAL DREAMS: DREAM Act activists rallied outside Sen. Charles Schumer’s office on Sept. 21 to pressure politicians for support. The act would offer undocumented youth raised in the U.S. a chance at citizenship if they commit to two years in the military or college. Although it did not pass in September, numerous organizations are pushing for the DREAM Act to be reintroduced as a stand-alone bill.
