The Presidential Seal: Found Poetry Series
The presidential seal fell off the rostrum as Obama
apologized to Wall Street bankers for the “enthusiasm gap”
of younger voters crossing into tribal zones to file for bankruptcy.
Using false names, thousands of them visited apocalyptic Detroit
to make sand-sculptures of the 14.9 million people looking for work.
Angered liberals waved placards reading, “We’re going to get heart attacks.”
President Obama said the threat emanating from his poll numbers
could be forgiven but then the sky began to fall. He quickly
lobbed 25 drone attacks on activists made out of nothing more
than sand and water.
“I went out and saw fire,” said a hedge-fund manager, “It’s great
to see the president showing a fighting spirit before an election.”
