Waging Nonviolence to Give Award at Plural + Film Festival

This Friday, our friends over at Waging Nonviolence we will be giving the first annual Waging Nonviolence Award at the Plural + Youth Video Festival.Plural + is a film festival organized by the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) that honors short videos (1-5 minutes long) made by young people, from ages 9 to 25, that focus on issues relating to migration, diversity and peace.

Once Waging Nonviolence announces the recipient of their award, they will be featuring the film on their website. (Check here for updates.)

The awards ceremony will be on Nov. 12, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at the Paley Center for Media in New York at 25 West 52nd Street.
