It Takes Everyone to Distro a Massive Indy Special Issue

Indypendent Staff Sep 15

The People’s Climate March is shaping up to be the largest demonstration in New York in recent years. More than 1,000 organizations are stepping up to make this event a huge success. Here at The Indypendent, we’re doing our part too.

Last week, we published a 24-page special issue full of well-written, beautifully designed content that includes a pull-out calendar map with detailed information on events happening during Climate Week.

Giving people a copy of this issue of the Indy is one of the best ways to promote the climate march, which is why we’ve expanded our press run to 60,000 copies. We’re working hard to move the special issue, but we still have lots of papers to distribute.

Come on by our office at the Brooklyn Commons at 388 Atlantic Avenue and grab a bundle (or two or three) and help spread the word about the climate march and all the activities going on around it to your friends, neighbors, coworkers, classmates, students, fellow subway commuters and loved ones. You will be giving them the kind of information they will never see in the corporate media, and you’ll be helping to make history. When you arrive, buzz us on the second floor and we’ll hook you up.

Thanks,

The Indypendent Team

Our office at 388 Atlantic is a short distance from 2-3 trains (Hoyt St.), the 4-5 trains (Nevins St.), the A-C-G trains (Hoyt-Schermerhorn), the F train (Bergen St.) and the B-D-N-Q-R (Atlantic Terminal). There are also copies of the special issue at the Mayday space at 214 Starr Street in Bushwick and at the People's Climate March central office at 315 Madison Avenue, 7th Floor.
