Families of Soldiers Call for Investigation into Deaths After Military Hazing

Private Danny Chen died in Afghanistan, but not from combat wounds. When the Army told his family that Chen had committed suicide, they reacted with disbelief, demanding a full investigation into his death. On December 21st, the Army announced preliminary charges against eight fellow soldiers in connection to Chen's death. The Army also revealed Chen had faced extensive racial harassment.
